I feed her after midnight so she had to turn into a gremlin. Next thing you know she'll want to go for walks at 6am............. HEY WAIT

Part of my course requires me to keep up with a design journal. Most of the time it's random bits of typography or logo designs and occasionally I stick colour in there too. For the last few weeks it's pretty much been on hiatus because of the huge move. We're still trying to get round to that last room, I'm not sure if it will ever be painted..............

So today I went out to add to my journal and of course I came across a book store. So I had to go in and spend an insane amount of money on book and magazines. I think with all the books I have brought for this course could equal up into the thousands but that's okay since I enjoy reading them :3

In other news I have back problems again due to the INSANE amount of paper I have to carry round as a project manager. I have no idea who gave me that role, hopefully I can draw pretty pictures again one day.

After many years of hating bike riders of all shapes and sizes I finally found a bike that I would like to ride. Too bad it would cost me an arm and a leg to get it. Though I can dream the wonderful dream.

Ack, assignments are coming at me hard and fast. I wonder if I will ever be free of this homework beast? Oh well another 7 weeks and I shall be free till the next big assignment. I wonder if there is some bad mojo hanging around school lately? Everyone seems to be picking fights, like nasty hair pulling fights. Not I'm a designer and I disagree with you because of this.......... type of fights.

I'm sure it will sort itself out...... maybe XD

Yesterday I went to laser skirmish. As usual I sucked till the last game. Where I came 2nd, Marc of course came first in every game. Damn him and his cheatness. I like laser skirmish. It's a less hurtful version of paintball, I hate the bruises that come after paintball.

Anyway I thought the photo up top was pretty funny, no idea why just is XD

I should really get some work done for tafe. However my motivation level is down to zero at the moment. Maybe it will be back tomorrow.

She's ours now, ALL OURS!

Though the first day she was here she dropped her ball down a storm drain. Naughty thing!

So this weekend we moved in most of our stuff. My god do we own a lot of stuff, I couldn't really believe it. Though to be honest Marc and I were never minimalist people and I don't think we will ever will be.

As much as I hate moving I always seem to find some fun things. Such as old artwork (though I've come to the conclusion I wasn't a very good artist but I'm now an excellent designer), old art journals, photos from a friends wedding, old boyfriend photos (okay this wasn't fun - I thought I had burnt them or sent them back in an angry rage), dolls, paper, and many more exciting things.

I hope never to do it again for a while though we've already got plans to rent out this house in 2 - 5 years time. Though now we have to find some awesome takeout joints again. I find what's lacking in this area is curry and chinese take out. I think I could make some really awesome curries but chinese? Well that's a toughie!

So what's left to do?

1. Clean out the old house and move the rest of the crap
2. Paint the bedroom white, so I can have my dolly / studio room :)
3. Move everything in it's proper place
4. While doing all that DO HOMEWORK!
   

We're finally moving into the new house. Though the house isn't finished yet neither one of us can be bothered to pay a mortage and rent anymore. Plus I never want to go there after TAFE I'm just too tired to help out. I guess this way I'll have to help out.

We still have one room to go and then we're saving for carpet, floorboards and a new kitchen. *sigh* No dolly money for me for the next gazillion years :P

We found this in the roof while putting in the downlights. I'm not really sure what to believe with this since the wiring up in the roof was insane. I might have to get dad in to fix it properly.

The house is almost done :D One more room to paint and we can move in this weekend.

Though now I feel like an old married woman or housewife without actually being married. I dream about the perfect carpet and floorboards, oh and let's not forget about the perfect kitchen :(

I plan to counter this by going to roller derby at the end of the week :D

Unfortunately we're not getting carpet or floorboards till we can afford them. When that will be no one knows!
